Supplement Series №12, International Monetary Fund, 1986. В этом документе дано описание преимуществ и недостатков построения индексов цен, используемых в качестве измерителя с учетом конъюнктуры внутреннего и международного рынка. В международных методологических рекомендациях отмечается, что статистика цен как финансовый инструмент (financial instrument) имеет широкое практическое применение.
